We are seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and excellent analytical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Daily bookkeeping of Group’s entities and support month-end and year-end reporting
- Maintain and balance the general ledgers in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner
- Record purchase invoices and arrange settlement
- Issue sales invoices to customers and follow up on outstanding payments
- Monthly preparation of management accounts
- Preparation and submission of VAT and VIES reporting
- Preparation of monthly payroll, calculation of PAYE, Social Insurance and Tax deductions
- Liaise with the auditors when necessary
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or LCCI Higher Level (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience on similar position
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of general accounting principals
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially excel
- Knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central software will be considered an advantage
- Strong organisational, analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work well under pressure and towards meeting deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
